Information and rules

For it to be both safe and pleasant for everyone in the lab, there are a few rules that ought to be read posted below. IF you are unsure about what you are and aren't allowed to do, dont be afraid to ask!

Safety rules

-The member should wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

-Tools and equipment are only allowed to be used if the member is capable of its specific operation. Ask if you are unsure!

-Each member is responsible to report damages to ELAB’s equipment, tools, or premises to the ELAB board.

-Tools and equipment are not allowed to leave the lab without explicit permission from someone on the ELAB board. Tools and equipment taken from the lab without permission will be treated as theft!

-Eating full meals is prohibited in the lab. This should be consumed in the lunchroom. Snacks are allowed in the lab.

-Do not work alone with 230V or large machinery alone. An ambulance does not call itself

-You are not allowed to set up doors!

General rules

-Clean up after yourself! This includes both the lab and lunchroom.

-You are not allowed to leave things in the lab or lunchroom. Use the project boxes or ask someone on the board for storage of larger projects.

-You must pay for every component and material used!

 

If these rules are to be broken the membership will be terminated!
